Gender Reveal Photo Session

Recently, we had some family pictures and a gender reveal shoot done with another photography team that I love, Luminaire Foto. I’ll admit, this was my first family session ever. How sad is that! But, I decided if we’re going to do it, we should do it right. I got a lot of help from a friend who was in charge of the balloons and not telling me the gender, Hope Artistry for an amazing job with hair and makeup, Jet Set Wed, for some help with ideas, and of course, Luminaire for the amazing photos.

The experience was really fun. Especially getting my hair and makeup done. I went in there looking like a pregnant wreck, which is my usual feeling during pregnancy. When she showed me the mirror at the end, I could believe what an amazing job they had done! I felt so beautiful and confident, and it really helped getting some great pictures. I would absolutely recommend getting hair and makeup done professionally for any portrait session, and if you’re local, definitely from Hope Artistry!

So here they are! Remember, these are not my photos. This is a just a personal post.

Naples Winter Wine Festival | 50 Fifty Creative Services

This past weekend was the Naples Winter Wine Festival. And anytime I have a chance to work with 50 Fifty Creative Services, I know I’m in for a treat, especially for the wine festival. The fundraising weekend started out with a VIP (Vision, Inspiration, Promise) dinner at the Naples Yacht Club.

The theme of the dinner was an old fashioned psychic fair.

And the room smelled fantastic with all those bottles of wine ready for tasting!

The following night, members of the committee hosted the vintner dinners. This one has an elements theme.

The other dinner that 50 Fifty designed was a Smoke and Mirrors theme, complete with pretty amazing ipad menus included in the centerpiece.

Meet Maren

This year is bringing some pretty big changes with it. Besides looking forward to having a baby in June and moving in March, I began homeschooling my kids this January. Knowing all three of these changes would allow less and less time, I knew it was time to bring in some help.

Meet Maren.

I’m so very excited to have her help during the next few months! She’ll be taking on some administrative tasks, including answering inquiries, so if you get a friendly voice on the phone and it’s not mine, you’ll be speaking with Maren. She’ll also be assisting at shoots and hopefully second shooting as well.
