Naples Photography Workshop

This past Saturday was the Naples (un)Workshop. And although I’ve taught workshops in other states, this was my first one on home territory. I was really nervous that it would all pull together well!

And it did! It was such a lovely group of women, and although the weather did not want to copperate, we had a great day together. In the morning, we discussed shooting methods and natural light. In the afternoon, we covered off camera and studio lighting and post-processing. Chloe modeled for the studio lighting and was juuuuust a bit shy at first. In fact, with the bribe of a cookie (do you see the crumbs??), she took it and turned her back to us. It didn’t take long before she was workin’ it for the cameras.

Finally, we ended the day with some shooting and some gorgeous models.

I was really excited about the vintage wedding shoot with this gorgeous couple.  I had even made some flags and a lace backdrop, but some rain and bad lighting ruined the setting. Even so, it turned out well. Check out the awesome handmade jewel bouquet and custom GracyLu Originals head piece. The model is also a makeup artist, Hope Henderson Artistry.

Thank you to everyone who attended! I’m blessed to have met each of you. My next stop is Hertford, England! The workshop will be July 23rd. Register here!
