Katie and John are from Chicago and planning a destination wedding to Florida in the fall. While they were here making some wedding plans, we were able to do their engagement session. John was born in China and his family moved to Chicago when he was young. He and Katie met at the hospital they both worked at. During a trip to China, John proposed at the Great Wall. So not only does John get bonus point for an amazing proposal, he also braved the Florida heat like a champ in these clothes. I don’t think I’ve ever looked forward to a wedding as much as I do for Katie and John!

Love, love, love!!! The colors are SO vivid…and I just think the processing on that last shot is AMAZING! I had this same idea for a children’s shoot with the chinese lanterns. The chinese lanterns I have didn’t come with anything to hang them though. So, just curious…how did you hang them from the tree? I was thinking fishing wire?! As always, TIA!!!
