2010 has been a interesting year. Personally, it held a few hardships and struggles. In business, I’ve gone to places I’d never imagined, from teaching workshops and online classes, meeting my follow contributors from I Heart Faces, and meeting fantastic clients all over the country. I have high hopes for 2011. I’ll be teaching my first workshop overseas and would love to book a wedding while I’m there! Here’s a look back on my favorite images from 2010, month by month.
January:
This is a shot I took for the anniversary of I Heart Faces. It was so much fun and I got to use my new Alien Bee!
February:
We did Sweet Shots, with a portion of the money going to Hope for Haiti.
March:
This little guy was just two weeks old when I photographed him. It’s also when I realized newborn photography was not for me!
April:
One of my dear friends got married and asked me to be her photographer!
May:
I traveled to NY to photograph this lovely couple. They’re both photographers, which made me nervous, but it was such a wonderful day! I also taught my first workshop while I was there.
I’ll never forget these ladies!
June:
June was packed with travel and sessions. I traveled back to NY for another wedding, home to Florida and then drove up to NC for two weeks full of five sessions, a wedding, teaching a workshop and of course, time with family!
July:
I got to meet beautiful Erika and her fiance in Fort Lauderdale for a pre-wedding shoot before they boarded a ship to get married!
I also headed up to South Carolina to teach another workshop. Logen modeled for us, who will be appearing in a TV show this January!
August:
I bean doing Senior sessions is the August heat!
September:
Although newborns aren’t my thing, I just love this age!
October:
This is sweet Brooke, at my favorite age again!
November:
I traveled to Dallas to teach at the I Heart Faces workshop. It was a fantastic weekend!
December:
2010 went out with a bang with a few family sessions and this lovely bridal session.
