Moving isn’t easy. On top of the stress of finding new housing, packing and unpacking, leaving familiar things behind, you have to plant new roots. When I moved to Naples, in an effort to plant some roots, I joined a local MOPS group. I didn’t know anyone in the group, but went in hopes that I would find some friends. On my way in the door, two members introduced themselves to me and insisted that I sit at their table. I never once felt like a newcomer but was instantly welcomed and have never looked back. MOPS has been the one moms event I look forward to week after week and I’m so blessed to be a part of it.
Because I’ve gotten so much out of it, I’m happy to announce that I’ll be teaming up with my group in a photography fundraising event!
On Saturday, April 17th, I’ll be shooting mini sessions from 9am-4pm at Center Point Community Church. I’ll have a simple studio set-up available for your family or kids’ portraits. The fee is $40 and includes a free 8×10 print. All of the proceeds for this event will go straight to MOPs. Following the session, you’ll be able to view and order prints online and pick them up before Mother’s Day.
