Right before I began Heather and Preston’s engagement session, I encouraged them, like I do every couple, to try to be at ease and be themselves in front of the camera. But I could tell it wasn’t really necessary. Heather and Preston are maintaining a long-distance engagement and they cherish each moment they have together. Before I even got my camera out, I could see Heather holding on to Preston, just being happy to be near him. Their love is sweet and natural. With an engagement session so smooth and unforced, I can hardly wait for the wedding!

And can you believe that after the session, Heather and her mom pulled out a gift for me?! I’ve never received a gift from a bride before and let’s just say it barely made it to the next day. These Scotland Neck peanuts were a huge hit with my family!

If you’d like to see a few more from their session, you can head on over to my Facebook page and become a fan!
